Unholy, in ethical hobnobbing of National Conference and JKNPP on foundation day celebrations of JKNPP at Dogra Hall, Jammu, needs to be taken note of. Dr. Farooq Abdullah was Chief Guest on the foundation day of JKNPP where he was welcomed with red carpet and open arms by ‘Chacha-Bhatija duo’ - President & Chairman JKNPP.

While taking a potshot, Adv. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Former MLA Ramnagar & Spokesperson JKBJP accompanied with Brig Anil Gupta (Retd.), Dr. Tahir Choudhary & Rajni Sethi Spokespersons JKBJP and Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Secretary & Incharge Media Department, BJP, termed it as an ‘act of desperation’ driven with lust for power between two beleaguered, rejected and spent-up forces. Dr Farooq, with all fanfare had formed a rag-tag conglomerate of political parties and pressure groups in the name and style of ‘PAGD’ and made boasts and brags of all sorts. Neither the skies fell nor did anybody catch larks. And same is the case of JKNPP too which has almost been reduced to a naught for its politics of opportunism, deceit, double-speak and nepotism. And, so called Panthers Party claiming to be clad in divine ropes is nothing but a family enterprise floated by Professor Bhim Singh and Co. to make easy money out of politics and make their political mare fly on the wings of ill-gotten wealth thus amassed with forehands in the decades gone by.
Off late, Dr Farooq has now started shedding crocodile tears for Maharaja Hari Singh and Zorawar Singh. But he and his party owe an answer to the people of J & K. Starting with a scratch in the name of ‘Muslim Conference’, while spewing unfounded venom and disinformation against the all popular Maharaja Sahib, NC glorified a communal strife of 1931 as ‘Martyrs’ Day’ for more than five decades. It. The party which kept on misleading New-Delhi and showed pipe dreams to the people of J&K for six-seven decades with least visible on ground. Fact remains that it stood a mute spectator to exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in nineties. It opposed tooth and nail grant of citizenship/state subject status to West Pak refugees, women and Valmiki.
Mr. Pathania was at the top of his lung power in saying that the people of J&K want to know if sipping tea with Dr. Farooq Abdullah at his residence entails ouster of Prof. Bhim Singh from the party. What lies in store for Mr Harshdev Singh for allowing Farooq Abdullah to act as Chief Guest at the foundation day of JKNPP?
Mr. Harsh Dev Singh was elected as MLA in the year 1996 and but for making pseudo and exaggerated claims of justice with Jammu, he has been a favorite hubby of Dr. Farooq Abdullah the then Chief Minister. Among his notable surrenders, he remained  a mute spectator to enactment of a ‘seat freeze law till census succeeding 2026’ on the floor of J&K Legislative Assembly for which he was prized with ‘Best MLA award’. He immediately joined ranks with Mufti Mohd Sayyed in the year 2002 and became a Minister in his government. Mufti Mohd Sayyed is on record to have said it while addressing a public rally at Ramnagar, “Mr. Harsh Dev Singh is as good as my son.” The bonhomie between this ‘adopted son’ and ‘father’ continued for another decade and a half since the death of Mufti Sahib. Describing JKNPP as a party sanning ideology, constructive agenda, direction, principles, morality, the speakers said that ‘petty opportunism’, deceit and ‘double-standards’ are JKNPP’s only dharma. It had pledged from pulpits and podiums that if voted to power it shall not allow Kashmir-based political parties to cross Jawahar Tunnel. Once elected in 2008, all the JKNPP MLAs voted for and supported PDP on the floor of Assembly and in MLC elections and Rajya Sabha elections too. Is it that the people of Ramnagar and Udhampur voted for and elected the MLAs of Panthers Party just for ‘bartering’ their mandate and take them and their political aspirations and interests for granted.
While Dr. Abdullah was all hammer and tongs against abrogation of Article-370 and 35-A on JKNPP platform, people of J&K particularly those people who voted for JKNPP and NC seek an answer:-
1.         Is or not JKNPP a B-team of JKNC?
2.         Is or not the Jammu declaration another hoax/hallucination created by these spent up forces and now being tested and tried on the Jammu soil?
3.         Is or not the positioning of two parties reminisces us of a ‘grand alliance’ mooted in the after back of 2014 elections whereby an attempt was made to cobble up a govt minus sweeping mandate of Jammu?
4.         Is or not the act has fully exposed the wishy n’ wily JKNPP who have ganged up with JKNC which has damaged the Dogra pride and cultural, communal harmony of J & K ?

5.         Is or not a totally communally charged narrative is being built, by small tits and bits, just with a view to creating smokescreens.

6.         Is or not the act is an attempt by the rejected ‘Gupkaris’ and spent up ‘Jammu Jaichands’ to enact another farce and rather fraud in J&K.
